7 questions for Grotto Cavern Transitions

  1. Nikolaj_Uhrenholt (verified owner)

In “Grotto-Ramp-Transition-v1.1.stl” the bottom is not even. Had to cut a small portion off the model for it to lie flush on buildplate.

    • Mike

      Hi Nikolaj,

Thank you for pointing this out to us. We’ve done a quick update and the bottom should be flush on the buildplate now.

  2. Gmaddox89

is there a reason this isn’t included with the grotto bundle?

    • Mike

      Hi Gmaddox69,

These were a bonus item as part of the All-in pledge for the Clorehaven & Goblin Grotto kickstarter so were free if you went in on that. If you did go all-in but didn’t receive them send an email to [email protected] and we’ll get you fixed up šŸ™‚

  3. johnwfree313 (verified owner)

Is there a possibility of getting a version of these that work with the OpenLock Grotto Cavern Walls and Floors?

    • Mike (verified owner)

      Hi John,

Thanks for your suggestion! I’ll add it to our list of possible future updates

  4. Tony Crawford (verified owner)

Hi guys, would it be possible to have one of these made with the rough stone floor? It seems to be the only one missing out of main floor types you guys sell.

    • Nicholas Jebson

I didn’t realize we hadn’t put these on! We can line it up for an update but I’m unsure when we will get to it. If you have it, the Grotto pieces are now available in terrain tinker so you should be able to make it pretty easily with that function, as it works almost exactly the same as how we originally made the transition tiles.

  5. Tony Crawford (verified owner)

    Hi Nicholas,

This is excellent news! If I can make my own using Terrain Tinker then that means I can also create some for the more rare floors and walls like the ones for the Open Lock Pyramid of the New Eden set and others, and change out some of the floor and wall types for other pieces too. Thanks for letting me know this was possible in Terrain Tinker.

    • Nicholas Jebson

No problem, they are a fairly recent addition to Terrain Tinker so people are still working out what they can do.

When we put them together we used the Grotto Tunnels Entrance, Grotto Tunnels Short Straight and then whichever floors and walls we wanted to transition them into.

  6. Ian DeTreville

if i buy the goblin grotto add on are these included?

    • Jo Boorer

These are part of the bonus items that backers got when backing both the Goblin Grotto and Clorehaven during the Kickstarter.

  7. Fabian Gessl (verified owner)

    Hey,

are there also Transitions that work with the Grotto Caverns Open Lock System?

    • Jo Boorer

Can you please send me a screenshot of the parts you are referring to at [email protected]
