1 question for Castle Walls

  1. malottmanbrad (verified owner)

Out of curiosity, why is there no A-wall with 3 openlock slits? The tesselation pack has 3 across, making that easier to connect to an EN-floor.

    • Matt Barker

We are upgrading all the tiles to TRP, they will be backwards compatible with all the existing system.

  2. Matthew Holland (verified owner)

Any plan for a LED torch wall?

    • Sam Campbell

These are going to be available with the next Printable Scenery Rampage Kickstarter next year.

  3. kreed346

What are the pegs for on the top of the wall?

    • Sam Campbell

The pegs are for aligning the walls on a higher level to match.

  4. luccadark (verified owner)

What is the equivalent of the X WALL but for the interior side? So i can make a rounded passage

I can send you a picture if you want.

    • Sam Campbell

There is no tile for this yet. It’s something we can look at doing though.

  5. clawingwolf (verified owner)

How do you make T intersections with the walls. To connect single layer walls to towers and keeps? I haven’t been able to find a T wall but there is one for the interior walls.

    • Sam Campbell

It’s something we can have a look at adding in the future. I’ll add it as a suggestion.

  6. seanwmcinnes (verified owner)

My G-TRP-BrickWall-v4.0 is corrupted and unable to load in a slicer due to a hole in the outer wall. How can I fix this?

    • Sam Campbell (verified owner)

This file has just been rechecked, have you tried downloading the file again.

  7. josh.briffett (verified owner)

Is there any way/ chance of getting a C wall for this set?

    • Sam Campbell (verified owner)

Its something we can add for suggestions for future development. At the moment you can use an A wall plus a column to get the C length wall.

  8. Matthew Horbund

Sam, I saw that you mentioned the pegs are to align with a higher level wall. I dont really understand as Im new to all of this. but i love it. I dont even play and i love it 🙂

Can you point to a model or photo where a higher level was aligned? I actually want to use this for backdrops for some photos of Minis i print, and having a 2 level wall would be perfect for taller minis

    • Sam Campbell (verified owner)

The pegs on top of each wall and the cavities in the bottom will allow you to stack the walls.

  9. Matthew Horbund

Thanks for the fast reply. So they’re stackable as “outer walls” with no floors. totally on board, thank you. Love the work.

  10. Matthew Horbund

My thoughts are more on the line of photography and posing than playing.

are any of the models 2 story “great room” type things with 2 story (or more) walls and floors. tis way if i took photos of a party in the room, it would be 100% backdrop?

  11. quark2 (verified owner)

    Hello,

Which wall would go on the diagonal side of an O base? I’m looking to have a diagonal side of a room and I’m looking for which wall tiles to use.

    Thank you

    • Sam Campbell (verified owner)

P Wall fits on the diagonal of an O Floor.

  12. james.mace (verified owner)

Hi! I’ve noticed all these walls have great detail in the stone work except the D wall. Same pattern as the rest but it’s like the inner tessellation piece is too wide, so there’s very little depth to the stone work and it looks flat. Any chance for an updated D wall?

    • Sam Campbell (verified owner)

Thanks James, we’ll have a look at gettign this updated soon.

  13. James (verified owner)

Hiya! It’s been a year, any update on that D Wall?!?! 🙂

    • Nicholas Jebson

Hey James, It is in the queue for an update, though as it is a cosmetic update rather than a functional update it has a lower priority than some others. we will be getting to it.

  14. Shannon Moyers (verified owner)

Is there a version of Wall “P” that has the connection points on opposite sides of the 45 degree points at the end of the wall?

    • Nicholas Jebson

No we don’t, as they were meant to be an outside wall rather than a dividing wall, though that would be an interesting option. We can certainly look to add it to the updates queue though I am unsure how quickly we will get to it, as it is not a high-priority update.

  15. Doc Webb

Are there any interior AS-style walls in this set? If not, are there plans to add any? Thank you!

    • Jo Boorer (verified owner)

Your suggestion has been added to the list of model updates.

  16. SC

It there a castle bundle available? (i.e. walls, floors, windows, doors, buttresses, castellation’s etc)

  17. davedamon (verified owner)

How are you supposed to connect floor tiles on both sides of a wall, say for internal walls? There are only connectors on one side?

    • Jo Boorer (verified owner)

This set is currently on the model’s update list to have an AS-Wall made.

  18. elunde01

How does one go about adding interior walls? The clips on these walls only appear to be on one side.

Also, as I am a bit new, is there a reference guide on which letter-codes refer to which types of tiles?

  19. davedamon (verified owner)

I’ve noticed there’s no I column for filling 1/2″ wall spaces. Are there plans to add that piece?

    • Jo Boorer (verified owner)

The I column is part of the Column and Buttresses set, but I have updated the Castles walls to include it.

  20. Doc Webb

Thank you SO MUCH for the AS wall additions! I know what I’m printing all week now. 🙂

Is there a rounded stair piece in any of your sets that would fit the interior of an X or G wall? I’d love to make towers with these sets that feature spiral stairs. Thanks again for all of your hard work!

  21. RiskyBusinessMan (verified owner)

Hello, I was wondering how wall Z is intended to be used? It doesn’t look like it can be used as a 45 degree diagonal wall.

    • Jo Boorer (verified owner)

The Z wall was originally added as a customer had requested it but we don’t specially have a use for it ourselves.
Due to this Terrain Tinker do not use it in their system either. Is just there as an option.
