Description
The clip clop of hooves on the cobblestones could be heard amongst the conversations along the busy streets of Clorehaven. Dust and grime settled in between the stones that had seen leather boots and carriage wheels smooth the surface over many years.
To build the streets and foundations as pictured you will require pieces from Schist Low Walls set.

What paint scheme did you use for the street cobblestones? I assume you used your standard stone for the sidewalks.

It was primed in black, The side walk stone was Dungeon Grey and Ash Grey, the street was Oak Brown, Leather Brown and Arid Earth.

I printed openlock clip from the free download package and it doesn’t seem to fit. I’m assuming we have to scale it down? If so, what percent?

You will need to remove the printer supports from the outside edge.

Ah ha! Yes, removing the printer supports did the trick. Second question. There is space for 5 openlock clips. I can squeeze four but can’t get all 5 to squeeze in and lock. Am I just a weakling and should use more elbow grease or how many openlock clips should we be putting per side to connect the streets?

Use 2 or 3, You do not need to use all the ports. The extra port options are mainly there if you want to attach smaller tiles of different configurations along the edge.

Is there some kind of end piece to cover the border with? Like a natural slope or something, so you can cover up the ugly holes on the sides of your street network as you plop it down on a mat or such?

Does this set come with just the tops without the bases attached? I would like to attach them to a set of magnetic bases.

The whole set is OpenLOCK pieces. You can cut them to fit to magnetic bases by sinking the model in the build-plate vertically or using this guide.

Any plans to add curved tiles, such as V and F? Trying to build some “city hills” using rampage Castle walls as foundation, and want to top off with these streets. Would love to add some curves to my “hills” to mix it up a bit.

It’s something we can have a look at in the future. There are a lot of pieces involved when curves and diagonals are added to the mix so it may end up being another product.

Any chance of a U tile with sewer grate in the center? I have printed mostly U street tiles and have not found a way to get the sizing and curbs to line up correctly to incorporate the E-sewer grate tile.

What are the risers used for? is it to put steps to the side and the cobbles on top?

You’ve got it in one mark. If you wanted the low steps to create a slightly raised section next to the road, the risers could sit next to it for the raised road section to go on top and line up with the steps.

Would it be possible to get an AS piece of just the “curb” section? This would allow for “custom” streets to be in between using E and S tiles from other sets (and the added bonus of being able to put a sewer entrance “in the road” so to speak).

would this street and foundation work with the recently release king and county pledge that i backed for a tile set underneath? example like the Norman church or the Norman stone fort but if you can give me additional links or suggestions that you guys have for cool tile set for underneath like rivers ,dirt tiles or cart trails dig in the mud and etc. it be much appreciated for my next project board game table I’m going to make and PS love what you guys sincerely Adam the new guy.
