(1 customer review)

The Ruined Norman Fort Walls provide you with the opportunity to represent damage inflicted during siege warfare. The damage ranges from light to entirely destroyed, and the pieces are the exact dimensions as the Norman Fort Walls, allowing you to swap out entire pieces for their ruined ones, even mid-game!

Also check out the non-ruined version here.

Description

Not all Stone Walls are impregnable; breaches could be made from siege engines and a determined attacker. If not brought low by the enemy, then the ravages of time eventually crumble the defensive perimeter.

1 question for Ruined Norman Fort Walls

  1. Rik (verified owner)

Will you be adding OpenLOCK to these files?

    • Jo Boorer (verified owner)

Don’t have plans to do this presently but Terrain Tinker may do in the future.

  2. louanders (verified owner)

Does the ruined gate print on FDM without supports? Advice for printing that welcome.

    • Jo Boorer (verified owner)

Yes, This was printed without supports.

  3. Roem (verified owner)

will the slots in the bottom be added to these so they can be used with the wall extensions?

    • Jo Boorer (verified owner)

Yes, we can get this done.

  4. Dion (verified owner)

Any chance of ruined wall height extensions to match the ruined wall ends?

    • Jo Boorer (verified owner)

This is currently on our models update list

  5. JD (verified owner)

A “t-joint” piece for the walls so you could build multi-layered defensive walls would be amazing.

    • Joanne Boorer (verified owner)

      Thanks for your suggestion.
I will add this to our list of model up dates.

  6. Tyler Stratton (verified owner)

The three ruble piles each have 4 registration marks on the bottom, but I’m not really sure where they are supposed to go / with which wall extension piece. Any guidance?

    • Joanne Boorer (verified owner)

Hi Tyler, Thanks for reaching out. The marks on the bottom are for sitting on the wall extensions if you wish. They can be used with any of the ruin wall end pieces.

    • Joanne Boorer (verified owner)

These rubble pieces should not of had cavities for locking pins on the bottom as they do not got on any of the Extensions. A modeler is going to remove these cavities and I have add a pic in the gallery of how to use these rubble pieces along with the transition wall. Sorry for the confusion.

  7. søren jepsen (verified owner)

The rubble piles doesn’t really fit on the wall extensions – or at least I’m having trouble figuring out how to use them.

    • Joanne Boorer (verified owner)

Hi, Thanks for reaching out. Sorry for the confusion. These rubble pieces do not go on the extensions. I have now asked a modeler to remove the cavities. I have also uploaded a picture to show that these rubble pieces can be used with the Norman-Fort-Walls-Wall-Short-Extension-Ruined-Transition found in the extensions folder when using the extension pieces.

  8. Jeremy (verified owner)

Considering the above comments about the rubble piles not fitting on top of any of the extension pieces, what then goes on top of the “Shortest” wall extension? There doesn’t seem to be any top ruined piece that fits this. And its just the one that I need for my current project. 🙂 Can we get a ruined “Shortest” piece – i.e. the 56mm wide wall piece. If possible. Thanks Jo.

    • Joanne Boorer (verified owner)

Hi Jeremy. Thanks for this suggestion. Can you send a sketch of your vision to [email protected]

  9. Jeremy (verified owner)

Thanks Jo. I could certainly do that, however, I’m just looking for the ruined version of the “Shortest” (56mm wide) wall piece as found in the un-ruined Norman Fort Walls pack. It’s the 56mm one, and its a nice piece to fill the small spaces in wall sections of the ruined fort I’m working on.
