Description

Water seeping down from the land above had created a vast archipelago of rock islands in the grotto caves. Occasionally raised caverns  provided vantage points to cast a light spell or shine a torch to show the way.

What are the bridges from? I checked (and own) all three grotto packs and don’t see the bridge in any of them.

Disregard, no sooner did i hit enter did i find it was its own download. Thanks 🙂

Follow up to this question though, i have the bridges download (rickety bridges) but the ones in this picture do not appear to be straight flat bridges like the ones in the download, these ones kind of bend in the middle like a real bridge would, is that something you did personally with blender or something or just a trick of the painting?

    • Nicholas Jebson

I believe they started as straight bridges (as a curved bridge would need printer supports) and then we heated up the PLA in the center of the bridge to bend it with a hair dryer. you can see the little video we did about this here: Bending Bridges.

Would it be possible to get an updated version with magnet holes in the bottom like in the grotto floor and wall sections?

      Hi Mats,

Thanks for your suggestion. I’ve added it to our list of possible future model updates for when this set comes up for revision
