Description
Many of the common folk of Hagglethorn make their homes of thatch and stucco. These humble homesteads are where many of the heroes of the rustic rebellion are born and raised.
Three versions of the Hagglethorn Homestead are included in the download:
- A folder named “Small Printer” with cut pieces for printers with a bed size of 120mmX120mm
- A folder titled “With Supports” containing the Roof with supports for FDM printing (recommended)
- The unsupported, complete Roof and Base without supports
Updates:
- 28 July 2021 (version 1.4) updated build plate orientation
- 29 July 2021 (version 1.5) Small printer cuts of Roof without supports added.
- 14 August 2021 (version 1.8) Top locking pin hole alignment made on the roof.

The downloads have a separate folder for “Small printers”. What is considered a small printer? ie. what size print bed is assumed for this print.
It would also be nice to have a separate README file in the downloadable zip’s (like thingiverse.com) that provides information in the download on layer height recommendations and infill and so on. Effectively what is in the “Additional Information” tab but included in the download for future reference.

It says supported version included in the download but I don’t see one. Does this mean it is meant to print without supports?

Try re-downloading the file, it should have a sub-folder with the pre-supported version in there. If not email [email protected] and they’ll get it to you

I’m having a difficult time getting the roof (both supported and not) level on the build plate. Would you be able to adjust them please?

Unless it’s an issue with my Cura, I think the roof of the Homestead with Supports is unprintable. There seems to be a small first layer on the front left edge which means the rest of the roof starts as the second layer and won’t adhere to the bed.

Just to double check we ran the Homestead roof with supports through Cura again and the first layer seems good. We did release a newer version after others reported a similar issue.
Try re-downloading the file just to ensure you’ve got the latest version.

Ok please dont take this bad because i LOVE everything you guys do, i was #2 to back this on kickstarter, didnt even take time to look at what i was backing because i knew it would be good, however i have been having one small problem with all the models that get released lately (even shadow fey) The connecting pin/holes on roofs/buildings seem to be too small, any other terrain that has larger connector pins i never have issues, if it messes up by 1/10th of a mm, no big deal, it still fits, however the pins on these are SO SMALL that i have NEVER been able to get them right, the holes on the roof are either too small or the pins are too big, i have tried many settings and wasted entire rolls, all i can do is literally cut the pins off and just set it on top, 1. is there a trick that i just dont know about that everyone else does (am i literally the ONLY person with this problem?) or 2. is it possible to make these with bigger pins/holes

Thanks for your ongoing support, we really appreciate it.
We are re-tooling the locking pins for these models and will have them out in the next day or so.

In Version 1.6 it looks like the very top of the roof is missing in the folder Roof Without Supports Small Printer, while that part does show in the 1.5 version folder. In 1.6 is look like there is a space for the very top of the roof, but the file is not there.
