The Clorehaven Roofs pack contains a variety of different size roofs for the buildings of Clorehaven. This pack is part of the Clorehaven City line of building tiles and is designed to be used with the Tudor and Schist walls. There are small printer versions which are clipped together using the OpenLOCK system.

This product is delivered as a .ZIP file pack containing 3d printer files (STL files) for use on a home 3D Printer.
The goblin surveyed the townsfolk from atop the roofs of Clorehaven. She waited, looking for her chance to steal some food or shiny coin. It wasn’t like the fat humans would ever notice a few missing things here or there.

Is it possible to make the roofs hollow to reduce material and print time please?
I’m currently printing the simple house roof for small beds and each piece is a solid block taking 8 hours to print.

Definitely second vote the hollow idea! Obviously need areas for clips, but reducing materials is a huge win (time to print, filament cost per piece).

The Large roofs are hollow. For small printer cuts, you can cut them into smaller sizes using this guide https://blog.prusaprinters.org/cut-stl-models-3d-printing-meshmixer/ or reduce density to 5%.

Curious, how flexible are the roof designs meant to be? I watched the Kickstarter video. Most buildings look similar-ish in size, but also looks like you might be able to really go crazy with this?

I’ve noticed there are pin holes for the Townhouse roof. Is there a way to print the pins? Or a substitute? Thanks

The pin holes are sized so that you can take a section of 1.75mm filament and use it as the pin. It is also well sized for the average paperclip if you wanted a metallic pin.

I have found a few issues for the SimpleHouse-Roof:
– It is shorter on it’s wide side with 4mm than the span of 3xA-Wall + 4xColumn, as such the side walls of the lower level do not align with the sides of SimpleHouse-Roof, I scaled it up a bit on this axis to correct this;
– Add two lines of parallel pin holes on front and back of SimpleHouse-Roof so that a fireplace with top locking pins can be used. This will also allow for more freedom when using this piece;
– After correcting the first issue add a line of pin holes on the left and right of SimpleHouse-Roof so that side walls with pin holes can be used;
You can notice all of these issues by building/inspecting The Tavern from the Clorehaven line of buildings.

You can recreate the roofs here with the modular set. These are great if you’re making small buildings and want to save some time and effort.

I printed the small roof with locking pins without much of an issue. It had a bunch stray lines of filament on the inside but nothing that would make it not useable. The one without locking pins keeps failing on me. Do I need to have ‘detect’ overhangs enabled for this?
