Description

As the Halflings Wealth in Archanical fuel increased, so too did their standing and bartering capabilities with the Iron mongering Dwarves. Ever eager to appease their Halfling allies to the south to ensure the reliable trade of their precious commodity, much of their ancient stores of metals and quarried stone were tapped to provide the rising City of ARCANIA. As the decades passed and the alliance flourished, so too did the craftsmanship of the Dwarves. Though no Halfling had ever passed the gates to their mountain holdfasts and seen their fabled foundry’s, rumors grew of the advancements in mining and metal work they had developed from the Archanical fuel, industrial wonders to rivel the airships of Wollockshire.
The evidence of this could clearly be seen in their greatest architectural achievement, known to Halflings as the Wyrmway. This Bastion of opulence boasted of the new heights achieved in Dwarven metal works. With its giant Drakes standing sentinel either side a wrought gateway of a kingly figure commanding a Dragon, there were some Halflings who felt this structure seemed more of fortification than of opulence.
