Description

To be deemed worthy enough to be chosen to stand on the tower’s grand balcony, and be declared a Mage Aeternus is the highest honor possible in Elven magic study. For this reason, many scholars spend months at a time in the tower’s grand rooms, alternating between studying hefty tomes and meditating in the open-air spaces on silken pillows.

5 questions for Tower Aeternus

Bump this up to 110% and print it now – it is GLORIOUS. Best model out of the entire DEAD campaign in my opinion

  2. Fireslinger (verified owner)

Amazing model. Takes a while to print on the Ender 3 (37 hours for base, 26 hours for 2nd floor, 24 hours for 3rd floor, 32 hours for roof) but it is definitely worth doing. It is 15″ tall with no scaling applied and approximately 6″ round. Prints perfectly with no supports. Used about 600g of PLA according to Cura (havent measured it out in the real world). The recommended print settings (0.2mm and 10% infill) work very well. I applied those settings for every part of the print and had no issues. Truly a magnificent .STL file to purchase and print out.

When I slice the roof file in PrusaSlicer I am getting an error saying “empty layer between 143 and 143.6.” I’m not sure how to resolve this or what that’s referring to. Any suggestions?

Thanks for pointing this out. I will get a modeler to fix this issue.

Hi! Beautiful model. I don’t see recommendations on how to get the doors to work. Do you need to insert a metal rod? Coat hanger maybe? Thank you!

hi, Im getting an empty layer between line 142 -143, on the roof file of tower aeternus. Im in bambu slicer

      Hi

This part shows no errors in Netfabb.
I have sliced it in Cura, Prusa, Creality, and Chitubox.
None of them showed any empty layer issues.
      Maybe try a Bambu forum.
