The one thing about goblins being short is when they can’t hide, they like to build things on tall places to be taller than anything that could be dangerous to them, which is everything.

4 questions for Shanty Tower

  1. michielwoltering (verified owner)

it’s really nice we can print three version bases. But all come with a large part the same lower house. Would it be possible for you to make the files so we only need to print the lower house once and can use is as a stand alone or fit it on the grotto or wooden platform.

    • Sam Campbell (verified owner)

Thanks for the suggestion. We’ll add it to ideas for possible development.

  2. davekeyes

What size print area is needed for this?
I’m finding quite a few sets here don’t specify that, and have pieces well beyond my 15cm printing area (I’m only just starting to get my head around being able to cut designs up to fit).

    • Sam Campbell (verified owner)

We design for standard medium printers that have 200mm x 200mm x 200mm print volume.

  3. cantiniaux.maxilien (verified owner)

Hello, does this print need supports ? Mostly for ShantyTower-Pillar-Mid-v.1.1.stl.

    Thanks

    • Nicholas Jebson

Hey Cantiniaux, No it will print perfectly fine without supports. We have engineered the angles underneath the platforms so that they will support themselves.

it looks like you took michielwoltering’s comment to heart, and we now have a couple of stand alone options for the house, good idea and thanks for making it happen! In a similar vein I have this awesome stone pillar, but i am stuck always having a house perched on top, I would love a version that just has the wooden platform. that way I can put my now stand alone hose up there. or anything else I feel like.
