The Shanty Tower is a fantasy styled building that can be used for role playing or table top war games of a fantasy setting. Featuring hinged doors, multilevel, removable roofs, floors, and ladders, it has plenty of room and allows for excellent miniature placement.

It prints without supports as separate levels. There is a stand alone version and a grotto floor version.

This product is part of the Goblin Grotto Add-On. Please log in if you backed the campaign.

This product is delivered as a .ZIP file pack containing STL files for use on a home 3D Printer. The files are set to 28mm scale but can be rescaled before printing.

Description

The one thing about goblins being short is when they can’t hide, they like to build things on tall places to be taller than anything that could be dangerous to them, which is everything.

3 questions for Shanty Tower

it’s really nice we can print three version bases. But all come with a large part the same lower house. Would it be possible for you to make the files so we only need to print the lower house once and can use is as a stand alone or fit it on the grotto or wooden platform.

Thanks for the suggestion. We’ll add it to ideas for possible development.

What size print area is needed for this?
I’m finding quite a few sets here don’t specify that, and have pieces well beyond my 15cm printing area (I’m only just starting to get my head around being able to cut designs up to fit).

    • Sam Campbell (verified owner)

We design for standard medium printers that have 200mm x 200mm x 200mm print volume.

Hello, does this print need supports ? Mostly for ShantyTower-Pillar-Mid-v.1.1.stl.

    Thanks

    • Nicholas Jebson

Hey Cantiniaux, No it will print perfectly fine without supports. We have engineered the angles underneath the platforms so that they will support themselves.
