The Perfectly Normal House is a Tudor-style cottage perfect for use in tabletop wargames and role-playing games. Featuring a hinged door and removable roof, it has plenty of internal space for 28mm miniatures to be placed.

The Perfectly Normal House pairs seamlessly with the Mimic house. Place it in the scene as the mimic’s “hidden” version until adventurers get close, then swap it for the Mimic House when it is ready to attack!

This product is part of the Shadowfey Ruins Add-on. Please log in if you backed the campaign.

This product is delivered as a .ZIP file pack containing STL files for use on a home 3D Printer. The files are set to 28mm scale but can be rescaled before printing.

2 questions for Perfectly Normal House

  1. Blake Moody (verified owner)

It is too late for me, but could you add pegs to the roof and building so that it stays on. As it is currently, the roof slides around rather easily.

    Thanks for the great work.

    • Nicholas Jebson (verified owner)

Hey Blake. there should be a folder in the file with top locking pins. Is this the one you printed?

  2. Matthew Kilgore (verified owner)

On the version with top locking pins. The base has a hole in the model. Makes it hard to slice. I didn’t feel like trying to fix it now, so I’m printing the other version.

The only reason I’ve like purchased models over free ones, is that they usually have that sort of thing fixed. Can we get a fix for this?

    • Mike

      Hi Matthew!

Thanks for bringing this up! We’re always happy to hear feedback 🙂
When you refer to the hole in the base do you mean the one under the doorway? If so, that is for filament to be used as a hinge for the door to open. It does take a little longer to slice but will print just fine.
I checked the model over and couldn’t see any other holes in the base but if you’ve found one could you please email [email protected] with photos and we’ll get it fixed up
To show what we mean using filament we have a video demonstrating it with an OpenLOCK tile
