Cramped in the tiny wooden space, the archers fired toward the men scrambling up the multitude of ladders pushed up against the walls. Behind them on the battlements, they could hear the sounds of pitch and heated sand being readied to pour on the attackers.

13 questions for Hoardings

  1. Ryan Fitch (verified owner)

Hello, I was hoping to find out which set the wooden walls connected to the grating were from that were used in the video to raise the Hoarding level. I haven’t been able to find any wooden walls. Thanks.

    • Matt Barker

I have added these two components to the Hoardings pack

  2. Niels Laurits Kristensen (verified owner)

Hi Matt. Perhabs this is just me, but I have trouble getting the slate E-A roofs to fit on top of hoarding like you do in some of your pictures and one of your new mashup addons. I cant get the pins on top of the hoarding to fit a reasonable place in the E-A roof piece. Should I just cut down the pins?

    • Matt Barker

The E Roofs do not go directly on top of the Hoardings, the Hoarding Roof is designed to fit the Hoarding Wall, In the image, I cut the pins off to fit.

The Mashup will have special holes made for the roof.

I will also make an upgrade to the Roof to fit the hoardings

Thanks Matt. You are awesome! I don’t think I’ve ever dealt with a company that listened this much to their customers 🙂

  4. Joe Cenizal

HI. I was wondering which files to use to make a hoarding roof for the Observatory? Thanks!!!!

    Joe

    • Sam Campbell

The GH-TRPplus-Hoarding-v1.0 fits exactly around the outside of the level 4 roof for the observatory but wont rest on top. You can either glue it to the outside at the top or print 4 F-floor tiles that fit to make a floor for the hoarding but the support nobs on top of level 4 you will need to be remove to do this.

  5. Joe Cenizal

    Thanks!!!!!

Is there hoarding to match the diagonal P walls in the castle walls set?

    • Sam Campbell

There is none at the moment, We will add it to suggestion list.

  7. itzibitzi71 (verified owner)

I bought the hoarding kit and I was wondering why the corner pieces don’t have pegs like in the video

    • Matt Barker

Hi, which video are you referring to and I’ll check it out?

  8. durhith (verified owner)

Hi, I am printing these awesome models but I am confused about the converters from the hoarding to normal wooden walls (AH Converter) as well as the GHAH. Are these part going to be duplicated and inverted so they can be used both from left to right as right to left?
What I can figure out I can only use these when the hoarding parts are converted from left side to a normal wall and the GHAH a left curve and not a right curve.
    Or am I missing something?

    Thanks for awesome models.
    /Michael

    • Sam Campbell

You need to mirror these on the build plate when you getting the file ready to print.

    Aha sorry, beginners mistake. Thanks!

  10. Cratesbane (verified owner)

What are the XH roof components supposed to sit on top of? I just printed the X castle walls, and the nubs on that don’t line up with XH as they’re mid-wall.

    • Sam Campbell

They sit on top of XA walls.

  11. Cratesbane (verified owner)

To continue the question, which wall set includes XA walls?

    • Sam Campbell

That should be 2 XH pieces fit on top of an X Wall. This is in the Castle walls set.

Is there a possibility to have the top pegs of the hoarding converted to the newer, smaller top pegs? I just finished assembling my newly painted Hoarding set and when I removed the GH-TRPplus-Hoarding-Roof-v2.0 from the GH-TRPplus-Hoarding-v2.0 the top pegs came right off and needed tools to be removed from the roof tiles. I think the paint made it just too big to no longer be a snug fit.

    • Sam Campbell

we’ll add it to list of improvements to be done.

Any chance of ever getting ruined sections of these to make a broken tower roof?

    • Jo Boorer (verified owner)

I will pass your request to Terrain Tinker.
