The Hanging Signs set contains columns and insertable signs. These are designed to be used with the Clorehaven city product line of building tiles and are designed to be used with the Tudor and Schist walls.
To build the Guardhouse as pictured you will require pieces from other sets including Rustic Stone Floors, Rustic Stone and Wood Stairs, Schist Walls, Tudor Walls, Schist Low Walls, Guardhouse Walls and the Clorehaven Roofs sets. This signs are designed to print on FDM printers at 0.1 resolution.
This product is delivered as a .ZIP file pack containing 3d printer files (STL files) for use on a home 3D Printer.

Is it possible to get a standalone column so we could place the sign in front of another building we already have?

The standalone column would fall over. It’s designed to be locked in place by a wall. You can try glueing the sign on as it has a flat end.

You can mirror the L column on the build plate. This will allow for the other configuration.
