Description
The impossible pinnacle looms as a testament of the madness that pervades the Shadowfey. A powerful arcanist resided in the once majestic walls practicing magic that altered the boundaries of reality. Unable to control the magical forces, a cataclysm tore through tower and drove them insane. Now, the lure of arcane secrets dares adventurers to explore the heights of the tower and depths of their own minds.

Hi,
There is unsupported stuff at 61,40 com height on the split base B. There is no mention that we must use support on that. Is it possible to modify the model to take care of this issue ?

For the flat parts (i.e. base top and level 1 bottom), has simple super glue been enough to ensure a strong enough bond or do you recommend pinning?

We used a 2-part epoxy glue when we glued ours together. A super glue will work fine and you can pin for added assurance, but we recommend using something a little stronger just in case.

I cant’ get the Level 2 Bottom file to print correctly. I keep getting extreme layer shift for one layer (and then it prints on top of that shifted layer correctly). I’ve tried downloading the latest file, reslicing (using Cura 4.10), two different Ender 3’s and several different SD cards. All fail the same way, at the same layer.
Is anyone else having this problem, and anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it?

There are a few possible solutions to try, one being rotating the model before slicing and trying a different slicer program (such as prusa slicer). Another one is that a small glob of plastic could be building up that hits the nozzle when it gets to that layer, hitting it causing it to shift. This can happen when trying to print overhangs. We’ve quite a few people print this piece without the same issue so hopefully one of these ideas will fix your problem.

What size print bed is needed for 32mm and 28mm prints?

Hi Michael,
The default size that it comes in is correct for 28/32mm scale. You’ll want a print bed that is 220mm x 220mm for the largest piece in there, though there are small printer cuts if you need.

I can’t seem to get the base to fit on my standard Ender 3 plate. If I print out the base pieces separately (the smaller printer files), will the single piece versions of the remaining levels fit on the that pieced together base or will I need to use the smaller printer option for those as well?

The small printer parts are still on the same scale so printing the small parts for the base will still fit with your whole printers for the other levels.

Hello, I am printing this model using the small print files. I cannot get LV1 Bottom B v1.1 to print. I have tried three times on two different printers (Neptune 3s) and keep losing the single wooden beam (either adhesion issue or other and I am using rafts). I am not a really experienced printer. Do I need to add support to this piece?

Hello, I am having the same issue with Level 2 Bottom as Newbuilder49 above. At about halfway through the print, I keep getting a large horizontal shift. The file prints fine to that point, and above that point, looking like a physical glitch. I have gotten the same issue three times, burning quite a bit of time and filament. I am using Prusa MK3s+, along with Prusa Slicer. Any chance someone at Printable Scenery could take another look? Thank you!

Is it only the small printer files that need supports?
Or do the big printer files need some aswel, sometimes I get confused, and you guys are wizards at making things priteble that seem impossible 🙂

The big printer files do print without supports but Lv1 and the roof will need to be printed with the brim on.
