Description

Though fresh mountain waters flow readily past the sheltered hollow, Hagglethonian’s drinking water has been made more readily accessible by the old well in the center of town. As such it has more or less become the local meeting point for a morning chat.

The Well comes with two folders for printing options:

  • Main Folder- A folder containing the model cut into pieces for most conventional FDM 3D printers with a print bed size of 200mm x 200mm x 200mm
  • Resin Pre-Supports- Small printer cuts with pre-generated supports for resin printing.

3 questions for The Well – Hagglethorn Hollow

  1. Cris (verified owner)

Is the hole connecting the wheel, well and bar supposed to fit a piece of filament or is it designed for something else?

    • Mike (Printable Scenery) (verified owner)

Printed at the scale provided it should fit a piece of filament to hold it together. You may need to drill it out slightly for it to fit through cleanly

  2. Monique Hammond (verified owner)

What do you suggest to use as an “axel” for the rope and wheel to connect to in the Well if printed at 50% size?

    • Mike (Printable Scenery) (verified owner)

      Hi Monique,

If you’re reducing the well by 50% I would suggest trying a paperclip or something of similar width. The hole at 100% is 2mm wide to fit a 1.75mm piece of filament, so reducing it by half you should just be able to squeeze a standard 1mm paperclip. You may want to just drill out the holes a bit first.
      Hope that helps 🙂

      Hi Henry,

Thanks for reaching out about this, we appreciate it.
Were you getting a mesh error in your slicer? I ran a repair script on the same part and showed no errors.
Could you email [email protected] about it and we’ll get that file updated for others.

      Cheers!
