The Miners Shack is a multi part model. The pieces of the models must be glued together once printed out. The pack also comes with an optional Outhouse model.
This product is delivered as a .ZIP file pack containing 3d printer files (STL files) for use on a home 3D Printer.
Wooden Miners shacks are seen as an iconic part of the American wild west, many still stand even to this day.

What is the reason for the small, shallow holes printed in the connecting walls and base of the roofs?

They are for filament or wire to be put in if you want to glue the pieces together.
