Port Winterdale Gatehouse is a multi-part fortress gate that can be used for role-playing or table top war games of a fantasy, historical or pirate setting. Featuring a sliding portcullis and raised drawbridge, it is designed to be compatible with the Port Winterdale Ramparts and Ruins, an Italian style port fortress.

The bastions print without supports as separate levels. String or chain can be used through holes in the gatehouse and attached to the drawbridge. A piece of filament or wire can be used to hinge the drawbridge.

3 questions for Port Winterdale Gatehouse

  1. James Jones (verified owner)

    Hey guys.

You have textured the surfaces that are designed to be flush with each other, with the result that the towers do not sit flush with the central section and there is a decent-sized gap. You may want to keep the textured versions in case anyone wants to use these to build something other than the gatehouse, but 99% of the people are going to print these bits and use them all together and it’s a real shame they don’t sit together properly. For the ones I’ve done, I’m probably just going to use hobby filler to fill the gaps but it’s going to be a fair bit of work and so easily avoided..

    • Nicholas Jebson

Cheers for that James. This should be a pretty easy fix so will add it to the updates to do.

  2. Ed Holt (verified owner)

Any chance we can get a ruined version as well?

    • Nicholas Jebson

Great idea! We can add it to the model ideas for upcoming projects, as it will take a little more effort than the usual model update.

Can you use the ruined version as gatehouse towers?

    • Mike (Printable Scenery)

They are compatible so they should work
