The Kings Gate contains three stories, each with internal details and room-to-place miniatures. The second floor includes a balcony to access battlements, whilst the ground floor has strong gates to defend the castle with. These doors are on axles, so you may open and close them as you see fit.

Description

A towering Bastion of his Majesties might, the Kings gate can be manned with a great host of his royal crossbowmen, with thickly hewn oaken doors and an iron portcullis ready to keep out any invader or unleash his thundering cavalry upon them.

13 April 2023 (version 1.3) Extension option has been added.
18 June 2025 (version 1.4) A solid version is now included.

Hi there,

Loving your STLs as always 🙂

I have been printing the Kings Gate, and I have noticed that level 3’s sockets dont seem to line up with the Level 2’s keys. I suspect I’m missing something obvious, but it looks like there should be something between them, or that there was/is a v1.1 of Level 3 that didnt make it into this bundle that had the sockets wider on bottom to accomodate the pegs correctly.

Will this be made to work with the taller walls achieved using the wall extensions? Possibly a spacer between the first and second floors that would make the walkways line up?
