Description

For as long as she could remember, the door to the cellars had always been locked. Yet here it was, sitting wide open, the smell of damp earth and long rotted vegetation emanating from within. She placed her hand on the ancient oak door and wondered who had found the key. From within the cellar, she heard a rustling.

Any tips to get the door to work? I have printed a few A panels out, and the door pins sheared each time. Looks like it may just be easier to put a paperclip wire through it.

    • Ryan

I have made a video on the Rampage Dungeon Door here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ys9r073r4do

The main thing is to cut all the supports away before you try to operate the hinge. Top and Bottom

Is it possible to add D-wall option with a door?

    • Rex Foot

We certainly could, i will add it to the To Do List.

Looking at the “D is for Darkness” pack, there is a tile with door already, but we can get one done with this style of door if you wish.

  3. Matthew Warren (verified owner)

I would like to maybe see a Q-RPG-CastleDoor-v2.2 as a double door or have a double door option

    • Sam Campbell

A double door is in the works but will not be part of this product as it is a completely new sculpt.

  4. Jeff Tremblay

Best I can tell, there are no floors available which can be set on the outside of the X wall, correct? It’s not possible to link a square building to a large tower through that door. It would be incredibly useful for Lost Mines of Phandelver in the city of Thundertree. There’s a small cottage attached to a large tower and the only way in that tower is through the cottage.

    • Sam Campbell

We can have a look at developing a piece to fit.

    • Jo Boorer

Castle Floors has just been updated with a floor tile that goes around the X Wall called 5×5-X-TRP-Castle-Floor.

  5. t.andersson (verified owner)

How to print the doors? As the file is oriented with a brim?
How do they connect to the arches, just snap fit or is the hole through the door supposed to be used somehow?

    • Sam Campbell (verified owner)

You can use a piece of filament to hinge the door in place.

  6. t.andersson (verified owner)

Is it just me or does these doors feel backwards? (the hinge bing on the wrong side). Would simply mirroring the stl work?

    • Sam Campbell

      Mirroring the STL would work.

  7. davedamon (verified owner)

Are there any plans to add versions of the no-step doors with connectors on both sides?

    • Jo Boorer

Are you referring to the filament door connection so that it open in either direction?

  8. davedamon (verified owner)

Sorry, I phrase my question poorly (and can’t seem to see a way to reply). I meant AS style door pieces so you can connect floor tiles on both sides of the door?

    • Jo Boorer

That makes more sense. I will add this to our model update list.
In the meantime, it is possible in Terrain Tinker to print out a door with a floor on either side.

Any update on AS style doors (with openlock connector spaces on both sides)

    • Jo Boorer (verified owner)

The AS Castle door has just been added to this product.

  10. ciprian mitu

Does it work with resin printers?

    • Joanne Boorer (verified owner)

Our OpenLOCK range can be printed in resin.
However, the OpenLOCK clips are designed to be printed in PLA.
Customers using resin either glue these together or use Terrain Tinker to build their model before printing.
