The Great Warlock found many means to endear himself to the Halfling populace he came to reign over, none least of all was the highest held position of his personal Staff Bearer. Some might note the inherent practicality in having this heavy totem of office carried around for him, especially now that his hands were busied with the many Archanical contraptions of his making about the tower of the Navigator. Still, to the Halfling folk who dwelt in the great city and saw the Warlock as their Savior, the staff bearer was the highest hope a youngster could aspire to. The Current Staff bearer is a studious fellow by the name of Digglesby Burrower, in his third year of service of the standard seven.
Below you will find the information required to run Digglesby Burrower in your games of Dungeons and Dragons 5e. He is a studious but pompous fellow, but do not underestimate him based on his bookish disposition. When he is near the Warlocks that have granted him his title, he becomes an asset beyond compare for them!
DM’s Notes: When roleplaying Digglesby burrower, make sure he has a bit of an inflated sense of self, seeing himself as far more intelligent than the other halflings and more like a Warlock. He is sycophantic when talking to the Warlocks themselves but arrogant when talking to other Halflings, even the Gaffers, which goes against Halfling traditions.
