Ruined Townhouse

The Ruined Townhouse is a building designed for use in tabletop or role-playing games in a historical or fantasy setting. With multiple levels, it is an ideal skirmish building, as it has easy access through the broken walls for mini placement and areas for combat and cover. The staircase requires supports to print.

Description

It’s unclear how long it has been since anyone last made it to the second floor of this townhouse. Ragged pieces of cloth still hang from the jagged edges of the stairs, the remains of fabric torn as less nimble explorers scaled the decaying steps. The occasional rattle of stones falling from the broken walls and floor suggest that the upper storey itself may be just as dicey to step into.

2 questions for Ruined Townhouse

Hello, I had difficulties to print the stairs, both with the complete file, as divided. Not even with the supports I was successful. I used fixing spray, preheated the table to 65 degrees, calibrated the table with the tightest nozzle and then further away. At all times in the displacement of the struzor, the beak attacked and tore off the beginning of the construction of the base (supports). I used a Biqu B1 and never had any problems. Is it worth trying to lay down the stairs? Thanks!

      Hi Wagner,

Another solution you could try would be to slow down the printer head speed and enable Z hopping, where the extruder retracts slightly between each layer. Sometimes if the printer head is knocking the thin upright out of place these can help. Otherwise you could try printing it on its side but I would try the first solution before trying this.

    Hi, Mike,
I will try to find this configuration option in simplify 3D and follow your instruction.

    Thank you very much!
