I’m a bit worried the tree branches here will be very brittle and snap when handled and stored. Any suggestions on how to print these so they’ll last?

    • Mike

      Hi Jonathan,

If you’re printing in FDM I’d suggest upping your infill to 20% to give them some extra strength. We’ve had no issues with the studio ones, as the branches aren’t too long they’re quite strong.

Trying to load file “G”, and the slicing software just tries to load it forever, is it broken somehow?

    • Jo Boorer (verified owner)

I am able to open this in Cura. It is a large file but should load.
Maybe try opening in a different slicer or redownload the zip file.

Hello i wanted to just make sure the C and D files were the right intended size/scale. C seemed a little large?

    • Joanne Boorer (verified owner)

      Hi

Thanks for reaching out. You are right; C does look larger than some of the other pieces in this set, as it was created with larger trees to create variety.
When matching up the fence post in this part with other fence posts, it is the same size, so if it was scaled down, it would make this part out of line with the rest of them.
      Hope this has helped.

Hollowed-Graveyard-Walls-E is indeed too large and seems out of place among the rest of the pieces. I’m gonna redo it scaled down to 80% and I recommend this to anyone who just got to printing this collection, it will make the models work better together.

      Hi
      Thanks for reaching out.
All of the posts and grave stones are the same scale in these pieces. The only scales that are different are the size of the trees.

    Hi Joanne!

I agree with you, I read the comments before printing the full-size model and double-checked for this after printing it, and I can confirm it’s true.
Despite this, the height and thickness of the part make it look out of place when used near the other Graveyard Walls, bugging my OCD. I know printing it scaled down to 80% shrinks the stones and the fence post, but I tried it, and doing it this way makes it fit better among the other walls.
I will take this opportunity to correct my initial number. You can’t notice it but 80% is just a tad too small, 85% scale is enough to make it fit 🙂 Also, if the gap between walls seems too large after scaling down C, you can always swap the locations of B and F to get a consistent gap. Happy printing 🙂
