Description

Instead of the long-winded debates and bureaucracy favoured by other races, the dwarfs prefer a more direct approach to diplomacy and problem solving. A fair match between two dwarves has long been the standard way to settle debts, marriages, estate disputes, and property transactions.

I know you’re deep in prep for the next KS, but could you eventually add a version of this that isn’t themed with the Dwarven motifs?

    • Sam Campbell (verified owner)

A good suggestion. It would take a lot of work to re work it without dwarven motifs and stone, we may look at doing other modular arenas.

  2. johnnywilkinson2006

Yeah, another request for different versions of this. Elves, humans, chaos…

    • Sam Campbell (verified owner)

Great suggestions. We will add them to our suggestion lists for future Kickstarters.

    Hi,
I had done the all-in kickstarter at the time but I think this is the model I have the most problems with. Impossible to print the pillars to the end without at least one falling off. everything seems correct at the level of the plateau. do you have a tip for this type of print?
    Thank you in advance,

    • Sam Campbell (verified owner)

Slow down your exterior wall print speed and print with an extra wall thickness.

Any chance for replacements where the dwarf logo have been removed, but not replaced? I would love to give my teams their own homefield with their logos, on the walls?

    • Nicholas Jebson

We can certainly add this to the updates.

    Hello
Thank you again for this great creation. No need to worry about printing, no need for a backing and it looks great. I have a question about the clipcap though. I can’t place them on the different bases at all. I have not changed the scale of the objects and yet I cannot place them. Any help ? thanks

    • Mike

      Hi,

Glad you like the Grudge Arena! After examining the clip cap and comparing it to our other clip caps, this one is the only one with 3 prongs to fit into OpenLOCK pieces. We tried fitting one into a standard flooring tile and got it to fit with a bit of pressure after ensuring the portholes are filed down and clear.
In saying that, we will get this piece updated, so it has the standard two prongs like the other clip caps. This should make it easier to fit.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Feedback like this is how we make our products as good as they can be 🙂

What bould be the size of this, and what amount of fillnt will i require to print this either at 32mm scale, or 38 mmscale (to increase the 25mm squares that seems to be at regular size,to 34 wich is the sinze of the grid on gw pitch?`?

    • Mike (Printable Scenery)

      Hi Daniel,

If you wanted to increase the pieces so that the squares were 34mm instead of 25mm you’d need to increase the size by 36%, just remember to increase the scale across all your pieces, including the clips.
It may pay to do a test print only increasing it on the X and Y axis and keeping Z, or the height, the same.

    Printing tip:

Supports are not required, but the “legs” on the base pieces are a little wobbly if you have less than perfect adhesion. Consider adding a brim to help hold them in place.

I’ve finished the base and am starting on the seating levels now.
