1 question for French House – Shop

  1. Matthew Barker

Its OK to ask questions here 🙂

  2. Christoph Loewe (verified owner)

    Hi,
just noticed that House-shop X2 and House-shop X3 are the same files …
So another part of lvl1 is missing in the cutted version.

    Chris.

    • Matthew Barker

Thanks for spotting that Christoph, I have updated the file pack and added the missing piece

  3. Nigel Guest

Matt is this set at 15mm?

  4. Matthew Barker (verified owner)

This is set to 28mm, scale to 60% and it will be 15mm (perfect for Flames of War)

  5. G Rose

Hi, are there any openlock bases for these houses including the ruined version (shop, town, farmhouse) at 15mm to go with the openlock hex roads?

    • Matthew Barker (verified owner)

Not yet, we could look at them in the next Kickstarter

    Hello,
What are the Legacy versions? Is this a new format. I’m new to Printable Scenery.

    • Sam Campbell

Legacy are original or older versions where some customers still want older versions after we’ve upgraded them.

  7. Thomas_Riepe

How big are the split sections, as my printer isn’t that big?

    • Sam Campbell

The levels are 157mm x 105mm x 50mm, there is also a small print version included which is half the length.

  8. niklas-schoenhorst (verified owner)

It says in the description „prints without supports“ but the beginning of the handrail on level 1 starts mid air. Maybe connect it to the ground?

    • Sam Campbell

      This will be updated soon.

  9. christian gustavsen (verified owner)

Is it possible to get this with no interior?

    • Jo Boorer (verified owner)

We currently don’t have a version available with no interior.
I will note this down on our updates list.

Just over 100 hours on my BambuA1, but years of resin printing. After printing the French Town House I moved on to this file, the French House – Shop. Where the French Town House printed up with minimal supports the first level of the French House – Shop was almost twice the length of time for printing ( 5.5 hours per first level versus 9.5 hours per first level of the Shop) and the main reason was clearly the huge amount of tree supports required for the Shop file (1st and 2nd level).

Can the first level be printed without supports?

It looks like the second level requires supports for the floating banister. Is there a setting to minimize supports for the second level?

Evertyhing else I’ve printed has been faultless and with minimal supports. Is there an optimized setting I want to use/explore?

    • Joanne Boorer (verified owner)

Hi Joseph, thanks for reaching out. This model should not require any supports. With our Bambu P1P we use the basic Bambu slicer settings. .2 Standard unless we are printing something fragile or would like more detail showing then we adjust to a high quality setting. The other setting we change it the infill. If printing something thick like a wall we change to 10% infill. 20% when printing a thin item.
