Description
When a traveller enters the Wandering Woods that border Hagglethorn Hollow, it’s not uncommon for them to see faces in the old gnarled trees. However, if the twisted knots of root and bark open to reveal staring eyes and a mouth that begins to speak, they have very likely stumbled upon one of many sentient trees of the Wandering Woods.
Each tree comes with three different folders for printing options:
- Main Folder- A folder containing the model cut into pieces for most conventional FDM 3D printers with a print bed size of 200mm x 200mm x 200mm
- Small Printer Cuts- A further cut version of the model for smaller printers with a print bed size of 120mm x 120mm x 120mm
- Resin Pre-Supports- Small printer cuts with pre-generated supports for resin printing.

Hi, I dont see a folder “Main Folder- A folder containing the model cut into pieces for most conventional FDM 3D printers with a print bed size of 200mm x 200mm x 200mm”
There is a small printer cuts. I am assuming this is the same?

Hi David,
The main folder for each one is the first set of files you see when you open the download for each tree, because they fit on a 200mm x 200mm print bed uncut that is how they are presented in the main folder. Hope that clears it up a bit

Hi Mike, Thanks for the quick answer. Actually will it print uncut? I am fairly new to 3D printing, but looking at those branches I thought they would need supports?

If youre printing in resin and they’ll fit on the build plate then I’d go for the uncut version (adding supports in your slicer as you normally would) in the main folder.
If its FDM then the small printer cuts would be recommended, the branches you could add supports to and assemble once printed.
Hope that helps 🙂

Hello! Was going to print the Hens Son piece in the Asleep pose in resin and noticed a pocket near the bottom of the piece. It looks to be almost right on the opposite side from the face. It looks to be bordered in part by some of the grass.

Ok, let me check that model
