Use this tool to find the percentage needed to scale your model up or down when printing.
The highlighted row shows the model's current scale and other rows show what percentage to print at to reach that scale.
To set a custom scale, use the calculator in the bottom row.
- mm is the height based on the measurement from the bottom of the feet to the eye height of the average human
- Height is not the same as Base Size (A 28mm miniature will often have a 25mm round base)

Is this set compatible with the roads found in the “Roads and Telegraph Poles” set?
Matthew Barker –
No this is a separate System. However, it uses the same road pattern.
Scott Kunian –
Will you be adding any additional road sections? Specifically T and + ?
Matt Barker –
We have the square road sections here https://www.printablescenery.com/product/roads-and-telegraph-poles

Hi, In terms of the question asked above, there are no T or Cross road sections in this set. In the Roads and Telegraphs there are but they are not OpenLock and are not compatible (re. not the same thickness). Is there a way around this or are basic T and Cross sections planned to be added to this set?
Matt Barker –
Yes we have only made the Hex versions at this stage, I can make OpenLOCK versions of the other sections also

Ok thanks. I am about to commit to printing a large batch of road pieces and am trying to decide which set is the most flexible… i like the openhex because of the ability to snap together, but without the T or Cross sections it is going to be a challenge for planning layouts. I do get that these are for hex patterns though. Well, I think I will have to use the roads and telephone pole set as it gives me the most design options. Thanks.
Matt Barker –
I will add some T sections to the OpenLOCK HEX Roads to our to-do list

Please consider this another request for a T and Cross section. I would buy this now with those added.
Cheers

If you were to do a set of dirt roads, I’ll be your best friend!
Nicholas Jebson –
Hey Joe, We already have a set lined up for an upcoming Kickstarter, so you may be getting them sooner rather than later….

Any chance will get those T Sections? My Normandy Village is in need of roads… Or maybe a roller like in the Clorhaven?
Mike (Printable Scenery) –
Its on the list of model updates for the future, can’t say when that will be but thanks for adding your voice to the feedback 🙂

Without T or Crossroads.. its April 2022.. im guessing that to-do list was long forgotten.
Nicholas Jebson (verified owner) –
Hey John, very much not long forgotten. If you look in the hex layout roads folder there will be a sub-folder marked ‘Extra OpenLOCK Roads’, both the T intersection and the X intersections can be found inside there.

Really liking this set of roads. There are additional pieces not shown in the pictures that really add to the variety. One thing I have changed is to print them with the thickness set to 50% makes them much thinner. So far that hasn’t caused any issues. I also printed the clips thinner to match.
