How do I assemble this? š

TI find the best glue is superglue, You can use small pieces of 1.75 filament to place in the guide holes

If you scale the spire parts .9 then it almost fits, The only problem is is that there is no door. I’ll make a mod for this so that you can do this, we are making some mods in two weeks so ill do it then, The mod upgrade will be free with this file pack

Will the files fit on a 150 x 150 print bed?

Yes. Church Middle and Church Mid Roof are for larger print beds. For small printers the same pieces are Church Mid Small A Roof, Church Mid Small B Roof, Church Mid Small A and Church Mid Small B.

There are no changes for the 15mm version.

Just finished Printing of the 15mm version and I think it’s way too small. It’s more suitable for 6-10mm miniatures. I scaled the normal version to 85% and now it looks like a church and not like a chapel with megalomania š

The 15 mm version is scaled down to 15%. Scaling guide, however, suggest to scale 15mm down to 60%. How come it is like this?

Did I say 15%? Meant to write 50%. But anyhoo, now I have one piece at 60% cuz I got distracted and didn’t use the 15mm version.

If I was to double the size – can I print the parts on a machine with 220 x 220 mm x 250 mm volume?

Hi Mark,
The original pieces are designed to fit on that size printer bed. If you were to double them then you would have to cut them further to fit. A fairly easy process that can be done in Meshmixer

Will the church back fit on the church if I print the middle with an end wall?

Hi Harvey,
The outline of the different mid sections are the same however there is a slight amount of texture preventing the back section from fitting flush with the end-wall sections.
If you don’t mind a 1-2mm gap then it will fit but otherwise you’d be better off printing the mid-section with no end wall.

Is this based on an actual church, or just inspired by many similar churches? Very nice model either way. I am looking for painting inspiration and thought I’d look at the real church if there is one?

It is inspired by several different churches so is not an exact copy of any particular church.

With .2mm layer height I lose all detail in the floor. It’s totally flat. I’ve printed 30+ other STLs from here and have never had an issue with default settings on my Bambu X1 Carbon. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

We have no experience with the Bambu X1 Carbon. You could try asking our customers about this on our Facebook page or try a forum for this printer.
