The Winterdale Campaign marked the first foray into Kickstarter campaigns for Printable Scenery. We explored a wide range of classic medieval fantasy buildings and scenery in this campaign, and launched us into the top spot for best 3D printable models in all the worlds.
The Winterdale Campaign is a complete modular medieval fantasy city for 28mm tabletop wargames and RPGs. Each model is delivered as an STL file pack to be downloaded and printed on your home 3D Printer. There was an initial campaign on Kickstarter and a follow-up “Winterdale 2” campaign on Indiegogo that added even more models
Core pledges
THE HAMLET is a modular cottage collection. 14 Individually sculpted modular pieces that can be arranged to create a variety of multi-level buildings and bridges.
THE TOWER pledge consists of 5 modular tower building pieces and 3 gnarly trees for bringing some life to the City of Winterdale.
THE CITADEL featured 12 modular castle building pieces consisting of walls, towers, gates, and battlements. The flexibility of this setup means you never need to build the same citadel twice.
THE CASTLE contains a range of castle wall extensions, a gatehouse, and a drawbridge for taking the fort into a true, defendable castle/keep.
Concept art
A large part of the Winterdale Campaign’s aesthetic and appeal was the original, hand-drawn concept art by Elwira Pawlikowska. Below are some of the final sketches used in the Kickstarter.
