Description
The soldiers defending the now ruined Barbican held out for as long as they could against the falling debris and raining arrows. With a final act of desperation, they attempted to trigger their final gambit: a barrel of oil designed to explode in a wash of flames to destroy the Barbican and any invaders’ attempt to breach it. If they couldn’t defend it, the invaders couldn’t have it. Unfortunately, the invader’s spies knew about it and deactivated the trap. They’d take the Barbican, then destroy it with their own hands.
