Description
With a dull thump, the scholar closed his book. What was all this racket all of a sudden? He could hardly hear himself ponder the texts. He strode over to the bay window, which had a fine view of the kingdom. Only today, all he could see were pillars of smoke. From his vantage he could also make out a sea of soldiers approaching the tower from all directions. He must warn the King. But first, he must save the texts!

Assembler Tip:
The trapdoors need to go in at an angle, then they snap into place. Tight tolerances here, so make sure that you file off any edges on the door.
Looks amazing though. Wish that I could post photos.

Do you have any advice on making the walls slide on and off more easily on the diamond channels? A light sanding helps, but are you using some oil or lubrication to make them slide on and off more easily?
Joanne Boorer (verified owner) –
Hi Michael, We have not needed to use any lubricate on these connections. Which walls are you have issues with?

Where is the buttress with the ladder located? It’s shown in your pictures but it’s not included in in this pack.

Thanks for pointing this out. Currently the ladder is part of the Hex Castle Barracks.

Michael Saxton – I found the ladder in the image in
> HEX Castle Barrack 2.6
> > Buttresses, Adapters and Ladders
> > > Hex-Buttress-Ladder-Long-v1.2.stl
There are also medium, and two called Hex-Ladder-A and B
There are some other ladders in
> HEX Castle Ruined Barracks 2.1
> > Adaptors, Ruined Ladders and Buttresses

I was wondering if you guys could make a different topper for the hex tower roof piece as like a point piece and not just the flag.

I know this is nitpicking, sorry
But stairs option one the lowest part is visible, could it have some stone texture 🙂

I have a problem at the third level: my medium buttress is too high (higher than the second level) and collides with the bottom of the plug-in arrowslit of the third level. The result is a gap of about 5mm between second and third level.
In the images, the medium buttress is lower than the second level of the tower, and it should fit without problems – what am I doing wrong?

Thanks for pointing this out. I have requested a fix for this.
