Description
A simple and accessible means for traversing the shark-infested waters between the shipwrecked shanties scattered about the port city. Still, one must brave them at their own risk for one snaped coil could send you plummeting to the rocks and waters below.

Hi there. Previously I have heated and bent bridges to get a dip in the middle. You have thoughtfully presented pre-bent versions (I anticipate heating and bending the rope versions will be problematic).
My assumption is that the pre-bent files will require FDM supports, and a signpost message to that effect might help some users.
Great models, as always!

Hi Luke
Thanks for pointing this out.
I had stated both in the notes and Attributes that support would be required but I have now updated these to state FDM.

Do the “Rope” versions need supports for the side rails on an FDM printer? I can’t quite tell if an FDM printer could bridge gap between the “x” pattern for the side rails. Thanks. Kathy

Hi Katherine
Thanks for reaching out.
These printed out fine in FDM on our Ender 3 and Prusa 3 Printers with no support.

How are the long bridges meant to be joined together? Seems like both ends of Bridge Long (and the long bent/rope counterparts) have sockets. Joining them end-to-end also makes the spacing between boards different than the other ones. Feels like there’s a tiny missing “knot” print with pegs on the ends to be the join point?

Thanks for your suggestion. I see what you mean. Currently they have a filament hole connecting them together which makes board join without a gap. Will add this to our model update list.

I cannot get these to print without supports. Any suggestions to get better prints? They print fine without rails but with the rails they always misprint. I am also getting adhesion issues.

Printing instructions can be found in the Attributes tab of the product page. The bent version of these bridges will need supports touching build plate. For the bridges with the rails are you printing at .1
