The Shadow Throne

$7.95

Any sales taxes will be calculated in the checkout.

The Shadow Throne is a stand alone piece of scatter terrain depicting the throne of the mysterious Shadow King, designed for use in wargames and role play games.

When FDM printing we highly recommend turning on supports touching the build plate, this will support the bat wings during the build and give extra stability to the skeletal wings, making it less likely the nozzle will knock them over.

There are both hollowed and pre-supported files for those resin printing the throne.

This product is part of the Shadowfey Wilds

This product is delivered as a .ZIP file pack containing 3d printer files (STL files) for use on a home 3D Printer.

Description

Few have looked upon the Shadow King and lived to tell about it. What information the populace have can be inferred from his throne, that he stands far taller than the average man and has a morbid flair for the dramatic.

Should Review the wings as they are “middleair” and fail to print without supports… not sure if depending of the speed of the printer and setting it’s possible but with mine was imposible)… Amazing job

We highly recommend supports touching buildplate for that reason.

Will the wings need supports for FDM printers? It seems like it…

We highly recommend supports touching buildplate for this guy in order to support the bat wings during the build and give extra stability to the skeletal wings

i really have to say, that the pre supported file isnt very good… the supports are way too thick and i was not able to remove them without severely damaging the model itself. i ended up throwing it in the bin and supporting it myself to resin print. i assume they were auto generated?

Thank you for the feedback Max. We have only recently started pre-supporting our models and are possibly over-supporting them currently, though we are working on improving them. I will have another look at the Shadow Throne and see what improvements I can make today.
