Can this be printed without the ‘castle part’ on the side? I see some peices are blank on the side where that piece would be attached, are there optional parts included in this bundle that allow you to have all 4 sides of the tower decorated?
Matthew Barker –
No, this is designed to be printed a standalone piece, However, the top cottage part can be used as a standalone piece.
The Tower section will need to be placed back against something as will the side hut.

Hi Matt, how can i print the “TowerBattlementV02”? At layerheight 6.05 and up it printed into the air ….. and i have no chance to print the tile 🙁 any hints?
My printer is a Prusa I3 MK2, first layer 0.25, rest 0.2.
Matthew Barker –
That part is one of the few parts that needs supports touching buildplate switched on.

I have this one already and love it, but is the top room off this the same file as the other winterdale cottage? Would I be buying it just for the stone step base?
Matt Barker –
Yes, the top section is the same as the bridge cottage. You getting the stone wall section and the two levels below the top level

Do you remember what colors you used for the top most roof? Thanks

This model was back in the early days before we started recording what paints were used. Our current painter thinks the following paints were used.
A basecoat of Mephiston Red, dry brushed with evil suns scarlet, and a final light drybrush of Wild Rider Red. They’re all citadel colours.

Does anyone else have issues with the top level (cottage lv03) not lining up with the rest? It looks like its on a completely different scale by default.
Matt Barker –
