Are supports needed at all?

I noticed an answer to a question about floor tile print issues (too much material in the OpenLock space) and the answer was that OpenLock times don’t need supports, Is this for all files? Something like the Tudor Roof Convertor (with the roof support beams) looks like it would need supports. Does it not?

Printing on an ender 3 v2.

That piece should be fine to print without supports. The angle of the corbel is positioned so that it should print well. If it doubt you can always try with supports touching buildplate.
