I’ve printed this and it looks fantastic. But why doesn’t Start the stairs at the ground? There is an root to climb to get to the first stairstep!?
Matt Barker –
Mainly for aesthetic reasons. I wanted to design it so it didn’t look like a kids treehouse.

I’m having a really hard time printing the 2nd floor – having printed a ton of other stuff from you guys, this one I can’t get to work. The details on the outer railing falls off and the window decoration in the middle of them also fall off.
Any suggestions?
Matt Barker –
Whats happening, do you want to post a picture on our forum?
Matt Barker –
Hi Could you post a picture of whats happening to https://www.printablescenery.com/forums/forum/resolving-3dprinting-problems and we can take a look
aylizia (verified owner) –
Yes I will take a few images and send over on the forum.

Aylizia, I am having similar issues just with the second floor

Restricting your exterior wall printing speed by 5 to 10mm/s we’ve found helps the most if you’re having printing problems with balustrades, poles, horns and branches. It will add on some extra time, but it is worth it.

Sam, thank you. I am going to attempt this. Cheers!

Are the alignment holes on this designed to be “pinned” with 1.75mm filament?
Nicholas Jebson –
That is indeed correct David.

I’m having to print the first floor using the pieces for smaller printers because my print area is juuust too small. One problem I found – the railing on level 1 part C isn’t connected to the model so that part failed as a stringy mess. I have a smooth outer wall where it failed so it looks like it was just a small Gap in the mesh when it was split. I can post pictures in the forum if needed.
Nicholas Jebson –
Hey Greg, I can see what you are talking about! We will get this update soon.

What is the difference between the 2nd Floor Version 1 and 2?
I don’t see it.
Thank you,
Mike (Printable Scenery) –
There is a slight difference in the detailing of the window frames between the different versions
