What technique(s) did you use to flock the trees in the example pictures?
Matt Barker (verified owner) –
Once the tree is painted. I glue clumps of Woodland Scenics clump foliage on the top
kagbb –
So this pack contains 2 tree files, and both have faces?
any chance of getting them without the faces as well?
Jo Boorer –
I have included images in the galley to show that there are 2 trees that both have a face version or non face version.

Is a chance we could get a version without supports built in. The print bed I have is 120x138x100. I must cut the model down in hight to make it printable for the max. the height of my machine of 100 (usually a tad smaller) mm and the built-in supports means that cutting it in half is a bit difficult.
Please and thank you 🙂

Currently being worked on and should be available next week

Is a chance we could get a version without supports built in?
The print bed I have is 120x135x100. I must cut the model down in height to make it printable for the max. the height of my machine of 100mm (usually a tad smaller) and the built-in supports means that cutting it in half is a bit difficult.

Hey ! Would it be possible to add a base for 3 trees such as the Sylvaneth Wyldwood of GamesWorkshop. Would be great !
Matt Barker (verified owner) –
Sounds good, I’ll add it to the ‘big’ to do list

These trees are really great, love the textures and shapes. The only thing I dislike are the skulls on the trees. I used some green stuff putty to turn them into more rocks. If I need skulls on my terrain it’s easy enough to add them as scatter terrain.
I already purchased your mangrove trees as well. Is there a chance any time soon of seeing more tree styles from you folks?
Sam Campbell –
We are working on some Gloomwood Trees and non skull versions of the gnarly trees.

Does anyone have suggestions for reducing stringing on these? I’m getting Gnarley, web-engulfed trees. 🙂 I know retractions, z-hop, etc. but it seems like no matter what I do, the stringing stays bad. I’m at my wits’ end here and hoping someone can suggest SOMEthing to help.
I’m printing on a Prusa Mk3 i3 with 0.6mm nozzle and Solutech PLA @ 195°.
Nicholas Jebson –
Hey David. We use the Prussa Mk3 with a 0.4mm nozzle, so you may just be getting a bit of over-extrusion from the larger nozzle diameter. We recommend swapping out your nozzle for a 0.4 and giving it a go just to check.

Is there a painting guide for your trees?
Jo Boorer (verified owner) –
These trees were done with a Dark Brown base, Light brown dry brush, and then dark wash.
