8 questions for S Castle Walls and Columns

  1. snarlbuckle (verified owner)

Could you please update the S Door with a separate arch and door unit like in the doors pack? I like the design that uses a piece of filament as a hinge as it is both easier to paint and harder to break.

    • Sam Campbell

Sure, I’ll add it to our development work.

  2. josh.briffett (verified owner)

Are there any plans to have a P/Z wall in this set at anytime in the near future?

  3. chris8 (verified owner)

Very new to this whole thing, I have quite a few of the non-S variety of walls. Is there a way to adapt these to connect to those? Was thinking these make for some really awesome inner walls and avoids that awkward “half square” situation. I plan to use the non-S walls for the outer perimeter of the building but am struggling to find a way to attach those walls to these.

Thanks! I wish I had found these walls first as I do like their design a bit more, just don’t want my first ones to go to waste really.

    • Sam Campbell

There is no way yet, But we can add it to possible future development.

  4. Wayne Hockensmith

Is there a set of these with Rustc Stone floors? Thanks

    • Sam Campbell

No. These mid walls are only available for castle floors and castle walls sets.

  5. nox0688 (verified owner)

I’d love to see a way to connect the S-walls with the non-S walls, so that these could be used as the inner walls, seeing as there are far more non-s shapes. not to mention the non-S walls have the stacking nubs on them and these do not.

    • Sam Campbell

Thankyou for the suggestion, we’ll add this to the list of possible future developments.

  6. Dangus

New to the system; what is the difference between the S door and the A door from the Castle Doors set? Is there a detailed guide anywhere to explain the letter coding system? I saw the Rampage OpenLock Tile Guide in the Knowledgebase section, but it doesn’t seem to include everything.

    • Mike

      Hi Dangus,

The difference between the S and A door is that the S door has the wall placed on a floor tile whereas the A door is a wall piece on it’s own.
The knowledgebase guide covers the basic tile formats but since then we have added more. If you haven’t already, we strongly recommend you check out TerrainTinker, that’s our browser-based software for OpenLOCK tiles and is an excellent way to familiarise yourself with the different tile types.
So far it has the Clorehaven tiles in it but there are plans for all of the Rampage tiles to make their way into it aswell.

Is there a version of something like IT-TRP or IX-TRP that forms a straight corner?

    • Jo Boorer (verified owner)

Not currently in this set, but I will add it to the model update list.

  8. gravitom (verified owner)

Could you make a version of S-TRP-Castle-Wall that is double in length? Four tiles wide instead of two. When building larger dungeons it’s a bit tedious with such short walls. The regular walls pack has this size.

    • Jo Boorer (verified owner)

I will note this down as an update request.
In the meantime, have you checked out Terrain Tinker? You have the option to build it and then print it.
