Description

Partway through his work, the chimney sweep stopped and mopped his brow, looking out over the town. All about him, a vast sea of slate roofs and jaunty chimneys. No sight could be more beautiful on an autumn afternoon, with Winter hanging just around the corner, and the taxman due any day soon. There’d be work for many a week yet.

15 questions for Rampage Slate Roof

  1. Mitch Cowan

Which files would work well with these? Thanks

    • Matthew Barker

The roofs have been designed to work with the Rampage System but will also work with the Apocaplyse conversions.

  2. Stephan Ziemke (verified owner)

The roofs are really great stuff. But i wish to have versions for the round towers.

    • Matt Barker

Yes we have some new roofs coming soon

  3. Stephan Ziemke (verified owner)

The chimneys are a very good idea. Have you also thought about dormer windows ?

    • Matt Barker

Yes for sure, We are making some versions with dormer windows next week

  4. Ryan Fitch (verified owner)

Does anyone know how to make a roof for a room that is larger than 4″ wide? I don’t know how to fill in the flat gap.

    • Matt Barker

Ill need to make a riser for this. ill add it to the updates

  5. Robert Gorman

Any plans to add ruined or damaged sections to the roofs?

    • Matt Barker

Yes we have ruined sections coming up in the next Kickstarter

  6. jasharen (verified owner)

It is mentioned above that a riser was in the works a few months ago? Is this still planned? I’m trying to get a larger building finished and am waiting on that riser šŸ™‚

    • Rex Foot

We hope to have it done within the next few weeks.

  7. rfdinizpimentel

is possible to make higher roofs? how to do If I build a larger house or castle and need a higher roof to join both sides, for example the “Old Stone House Wall Set” the big house in picture, how to join the roof’s two sides

    • Matt Barker

Yes, I’m working on a riser that will lift the middle sections

  8. Ryan Fitch (verified owner)

    Yay risers! Thanks Matt.

  9. christopherlnance (verified owner)

Good Day, I just printed the FQC-TRP-Roof-Chimney-v3.0 and the FQ-TRP-Roof-v3.0. I see that the FQC on is bigger and I’m having a difficult time finding the walls the FQC on matches up to. Please advise. Thanks.

    • Sam Campbell

The FQC was created larger than the FQ for those people who wanted the roof to have more of a over hang.

  10. George Sealy (verified owner)

Hi there, a question about larger roof sizes. I can see that 2 sections back to back will give me a roof for a 4″ wide building, and with risers I can do an 8″ width. But unless I’m missing something, there’s no way to manage, say, a 6″ wide roof? Would it be possible to add a 2″ wide ridge for this purpose? Although I guess that could get trickier around corners etc…

    • Matt Barker

We are working on some new roof parts. We will have an update ready by the end of the week

  11. tabletoparmorystore (verified owner)

Was wondering if you were ever able to work on the parts to build roof tops wider than 4″. I saw that you said you were working on them and would have an update ready in November.

    • Sam Campbell

We are still working on the roofing system and testing a lot of designs.

  12. joe

The question posed by tabletoparmorystore, Question number 11, is the only reason I am holding off on purchasing these models. I need at least some sort of filler for larger footprint buildings. Sadly until then I might as well stick with open top buildings even though having a solution to cover buildings with more than one side larger than 4 squares would be great. When/if you do come up with a solution I will be like Fry in Futurama commanding you to take my money!

This being said any word yet on the system and designs you were working on?

    • Sam Campbell

Yes, This will be in our next Kickstarter.

  13. R. Greg Szrama (verified owner)

Any chance for some X roofs?

    • Sam Campbell

The X piece is a thin strip. We’re not looking at upgrading this set and looking at a different separate modular roof system for Clorehaven Kickstarter. It was one of the listed stretch goals and will be available in the next few months

  14. Aaron Smith

Is the Modular Shingle Roof product the modular set you are describing? I have a lot of buildings, and not a single one with a roof. šŸ™‚ So I am trying to figure out which roofing system is going to work. Looks like this one is not getting updates – and perhaps the Modular product is the most up to date?

    Thanks.

    • Jo Boorer

The Rampage slate roof works with both the Rampage dungeon range and the Rampage Castle. The modular Shingle roof is made for the Clorehaven range.

  15. Jonathan Merrick (verified owner)

Is there a wall anywhere compatible with the roof ends that could cover the riser for a roof wider than 4″?

    • Jo Boorer

Could you please email me at [email protected] with a picture of what you require thanks.
