Description

Unable to take the cold and damp any longer, the Captain decided he had reached the end of his seafaring days. To thank him, his shipmates built a house out of a boat, so he could rest his weary legs in comfort and warmth, comforted by the familiar smells of seawater and wood.

5 questions for Boathouse

  1. kagbb (verified owner)

Does the small cottage roof also need supports?

    • Sam Campbell (verified owner)

Only the Boat roof requires supports

  2. kagbb (verified owner)

Might I request a wooden door?

  3. Cody McClurg (verified owner)

is there a way to print the cottage roof that doesn’t require it to be bigger then the house itself? For example if I printed the roof’s height at like 50-75% height would that mess with it too much?

    • Sam Campbell (verified owner)

Yes, you can shrink the scale on the Y axis only in the slicer. You can compare the walls and the roof in a program like Meshmixer to see if the scaling works.

Any chance of a ruined version of this? =)

    • Sam Campbell (verified owner)

Yes, we can do a ruined version.

  5. redbjork (verified owner)

I have a problem slicing and printing BoatHouse-Roof-C-v1.4.stl with PrusaSlicer 2.2.0.
It slices very badly. I had to add cylinders in the pipes to make em work, but like the top of the chimney slices in the “air”.

Thanks, we will get this updated.
