Ok, I was just worried about ending up with holes or gaps, or it trying to print the pieces as still separate. Or throwing off the fit when used with modular pieces.May 25, 2019 at 6:56 am in reply to: Preview of redone Water Mill and Merchants and Market #149124
Sweet! I’m working my way through all the ruined buildings right now and then planning on doing the complete ones. I just think it would be cool to pay a game where everything starts out new but ends up in ruins lolMay 24, 2019 at 6:27 am in reply to: Preview of redone Water Mill and Merchants and Market #148907
Very cool! Are these being redone to bring up to current standards or part of something larger?
The wasn’t much of a process lol. I blocked out all the main colors with the airbrush and then used it to had two layers of highlights to the roof. Everything else was brush, dry brush and wash. I followed this guide: https://youtu.be/oSqbT0HO74U
I just matched the paint colors as best I could with cheap craft paints.
Side note: That video was how I found out about printable scenery and 3D printing. I was sold immediately lol
Wow! That looks amazing in resin!
That’s an awesome setup!
Those look great!
WOW, those look great!
Looks like slowing down did the trick! I dropped the overall print speed to 40mm/s and everything looks to be working perfect, my surface quality went way up too. It really didn’t add much time to the print either, maybe a couple minutes on a one hour print. Also for anyone using the CR-10S Pro, flashing the tinymachines firmware is a must I found out. I was having fits getting the bed leveled and now the printer works just how I hoped it would. Thanks for the help!
Hello from Texas! just bought my first 3D printer and both the D.E.A.D. and Lost Islands complete sets, can’t wait to get started!
