8 questions for Rampage Mine Floors

Is there a track terminus available (i.e. the track ends in a little wooden bumper or buttress)? If not, any chance of getting one added? I’d hate for my fantasy mine carts to run off the fantasy rails on to the fantasy floor šŸ™‚

    • Sam Campbell

That’s a good idea. We’ll add it here once it’s been completed.

  2. Bennowolf21 (verified owner)

I would also love a Terminus,

Be great for the massive mine im creating.

    • Sam Campbell

      Buffer stop has been released.

  3. rziul (verified owner)

What is the difference between the v3.0 files and the v2.0 files in the Legacy folder?

    • Sam Campbell (verified owner)

V2.0 is single port, whereas v3.0 is Triplex and has 3 ports for instance along the E-tile.

Would it be possible to create a new pack of Ruined Mine floors? I need it to mimic a crevasse on one side of the rails. My apologies if something that can be used to this purpose already exists.

    • Nicholas Jebson

      Hey Cristian
there isn’t really anything that would match the description that would tie in with the mine floors. It would be quite an involved process to make an entire ruined mine set, so we can add it to the future ideas but it probably wont be for a wee while before we can get to doing something like that.

  5. Gerard van Konijnenburg (verified owner)

I would like to suggest an insert for the mine-cart / an alternative top part so that it can also be shown as loaded.

    • Sam Campbell (verified owner)

Good suggestion. We’re working on something new in relation to this.

  6. Shane (verified owner)

Is there a T floor for doing concave corners?
I misread the E floor with T track as that but having a way to do the concave corners would be awesome

    • Nicholas Jebson

Are you meaning one with a more gradual corner rather than a 90 degree turn their Shane?

Have you ever considered creating an expansion pack for the MineFloors that would allow one to build a multi-layered mine track. I’m thinking of a part similar to the High-Stair&Low-Stair combo, that gets a cart up or down, perhaps some mine car trestle pieces(a wooden skeleton with a steel track on top) that go up or down, or even an elevator, collapsing mine walls, floors with creavase edges, etcetera. I don’t know, it’s just an idea that spawned inside my head and I felt the need to share it.

    • Mike

      Hi icristian,

That sounds like a great idea! That would be heaps of fun, I’m reminded of the mine cart chase from Indiana Jones haha!
I’ll add this to our list of model update ideas for the future. Thanks for sharing!

I’m currently getting bits together for my first 3D printer. One thing I’m planning for is a Frostgrave scenario that involves a minecart and track that runs the length of the table – I’d love to see the track pieces and terminus etc on their own without the ground attached. Keep up the good work folks!

    • Nicholas Jebson

Its an interesting idea, we might have to leave a little bit of dirt around it to make it work but could be an update a wee bit down the line. Cheers for the idea Jammy.
