Sometimes canny lords will install secret doors within their castles, just in case there ever arises a need for a hidden exit.

The axis on which the secret door turns seems a little flimsy (I’ve broken 2, so far). Would it be possible to develop a version in which the lock piece has a 1/4″ hole, so that it would be easy to fit a small dowel rod as the door axis?
